The intended officer meeting was at 2PM in the IEEE room but 
only me and Charles were there.  Eric Cain was running late
and I ended up meeting him around 3PM at which point we also
talked to several IEEE members and to Richard Hughey... all in
all this should be a fairly broad overview of everything we plan
to do this school year.

Please send me any additions you might have and I look forward
to turning these ideas into reality over the course of the year.

	- We currently have none but it would be great to have several
      each quarter.  We need to talk to the Dean's office about
      speakers.
  + Field trip to the Diablo Canyon power plant
    - Eric Cain suggested the idea and 5 other members expressed 
      interest in under two hours.  :-)
    - The trip would be in early January and reservations would
      need to be made in October.
    - $5-$10 per member to cover transportation and food

  + Presentations of student work
    - Contest at the end of the year for design projects?
