Dr. Mark Flomenhoft has worked in EDA for over 30 years in R&D, marketing,
and business development.  Mark co-founded Tangent Systems, whose
innovative place-and-route technology was the basis for Cadence Design
System's ASIC layout leadership after Tangent was acquired in 1989.  Now a
champion for system level design, Mark is Vice President of High Level
Synthesis at Synopsys.  He also serves as an officer of CANDE, the
Technical Committee on CAD of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society.
